At Wilderness Adventure at Eagle Landing we truly believe that it’s or staff that sets us apart from other programs. We hire people from all over the United States and the world with a variety of experiences to come and work as facilitators for our programs. Every staff member undergoes a rigorous orientation process as well as a mentoring program before they begin working as group facilitators.

At WAEL we realize that the effectiveness of facilitation can make or break a retreat. That is why we equip our staff with the knowledge and experience needed to successfully guide groups through teambuilding experiences. Before you arrive at WAEL, we will have discussed your retreat goals, and our group facilitators will be briefed with your goals and have already designed an effective program that they can discuss upon your arrival. You will find throughout your retreat that our staff is able to relate each activity to your work environment.

“The central purposes of facilitation are to enhance the quality of the learning experience, assist clients in finding directions and sources for functional change, and create changes that are lasting and transferable.”
- Nadler & Luckner

You will find that not only are the WAEL staff able to tailor their facilitation to your group’s specific goals, but that they are able to effectively debrief the activities with the group to ensure that all visitors to WAEL have meaningful and productive experience. Following your retreat at Wilderness Adventure at Eagle Landing feel free to contact your group facilitators with any questions. Oftentimes our staff will even follow-up with a visit to your work facility to reiterate your WAEL experience.

Additionally, the family atmosphere of Wilderness at Eagle Landing shines in every one of our staff members. Besides being group facilitators all WAEL employees help out with the day to day tasks needed to maintain the program and the facility. At an activity’s end you may say goodbye to your group’s facilitator, only to find them working with the kitchen staff to put out your meal. Every WAEL employee is endowed with the training and know-how to see to every single detail of your successful corporate retreat.
